Skye Curtis is a hornist living in Norman, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she attained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in horn performance. Skye is an active performer with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Tulsa Symphony, and Norman Philharmonic Orchestras. She serves as adjunct professor of horn at Rose State College and teaches private lessons throughout central Oklahoma.
Justin Schaedler is a K-12 music educator, trumpet performer, and brass clinician based in southwest Missouri. He holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees in trumpet performance from Truman State University along with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Missouri State University. He currently teaches band in Greenfield, Missouri and serves as adjunct professor of trumpet at Missouri Southern State University, while maintaining a private studio. He performs regularly in ensembles in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
Ben Cooper is a trombonist based in the Joplin area and adjunct professor of music at Missouri Southern State University. He is a native of Kansas City, where he cut his teeth playing with various musical theater companies. In addition to his theater work, Ben has enjoyed a diverse performing career with groups ranging from the Oklahoma City Chamber Orchestra to the avant-garde People’s Liberation Big Band of Greater Kansas City. Ben is a doctoral student at the University of Oklahoma where he studied with Dr. Irvin Wagner, and holds degrees from the University of Kansas and Luther College.
